still no words on how dangerous that would be to stack but i guess i'll try while i wait for my other batts to arrive

I stack Rcr 123a bats for 6volts. If you are going to do it - make sure you keep pairs of batteries together and don't mix pairs- VERY IMPORTANT!
I stay away from LR when using 6v- too expensive to keep burning them out. Most of the time the stacks just sit, because I Love the longevity of the 18650 with LR or no LR. The 123As only last a couple of hrs - 18650s last most of the day. I have never had safety issues but I keep my bats paired.

Make sure you use the proper charger. Do Not use a 3.7v. charger on 3v. batteries.

Yes, very important! If one has more charge than the other - my understanding is that it puts too much strain on one battery and it can go critical. Some batteries BLOW others VENT, but either way you don't want this to happen! Even Venting is 800 degrees? Notice the two vent holes at the bottom of the Omega - that is why they are there. Some warmth is normal, but if it gets hot put it down and step away. Some one with more knowledge could point you to info about the difference between protected and unprotected batteries. I would say "use common sense" but this isn't really common knowledge.

Altsmoke doesnt reccomend stacking batteries in their mods but Ive been stackin rcr123a's in my omega for a year without problems. Respect the batteries, dont overcharge/overdischarge or drop them on concrete and you should be fine. Now that I've said that watch them vent on him and smoke his omega. seriously. You'll be fine...I think.
