edit: just saw a post over at ECF, 2 amp limit. What a fucking joke. for a few bucks more (something I never thought I'd say) the lavatube will out perform it and probably hold up better. good luck peddling this trash

Ok I just got mine in cost $39.95 , first test with a 2.8 ohm Ce2r4 carto in a tank , fresh batts = FAIL at 4.7 volts It cut OFF , lowered to 4.0 volts cutoff after 5 sec. .
ok tried it on the test bench with a 2 ohm load and voltmeter , lowest setting . = 2.8 volts then LO as the display says .
So maybe 1.5 amps or less of current capability. so far. also it had glue stuck on the outside that was really BIG /
It is a 2 part injection molded case that is glued together like a flashlight with a display and some IC I have to identify.

1:09:00 cool to see!
I dunno... For $40 having to stick with standard ohms seems ok. What happens when you drop it?
Thanks for testing LesPaul. I think more manufacturers need to publish specs on the current carrying capacity of their mods. I am certainly going to do it with the MPV (it will be on our website soon).
I would humbly suggest that you should do it with the BP. Wouldn't that show a level of integrity and commitment to design superior to the cheap chinese mods?
Hate to go against the VariStack haters but I was completely satisfied with the unit at all phases other than LR or DC vaporizers.
The one time I got the LO reading it turned out to be low batteries, replaced them and it was fine.
Did a mini Review on the Ivape board that describes my experience. Post #24
